 | Scout Spotlight is a monthly program that recognizes Scouts based on their exemplary character or community service. These Scouts are viewed as leaders in their Scout Unit by character traits including those found in the Scout Law: trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean and reverent. Do you know a Scout who has given back to his community? Who has helped a friend in need? Or who is just an all-around great Scout? Nominate them today! Scouts can be nominated by a family member, friend, Scout Leader, Teacher or fellow Scout. Complete the nomination form to nominate a Scout. Any nomination received after the 15th of the month will be placed with the following months nominations. Nominations must include the Scouts name, Unit Type & Number, Rank and a summary of why you’re nominating this scout. Be specific, what makes this Scout stand out. Each month we will recognize a Scout from each BSA program (Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturing and Exploring). Scouts will be recognized on our website, the Smoke Signals and at an Executive Board Meeting. |
